Atelier Tipografic is a Dutch/Austrian/Romanian/European cooperation to enhance communication through desgin. This year, Identity -personal, national and especialy european- was the subject of the group work to be exhibited in Bucharest, Vienna and Amsterdam. I represented Austria and my two teammates where Smaranda from Bucharest/RO and Koen from Amsterdam/NL. Our Task was to brand the airline of the EU for which we had a nice vernissage. Talking a lot about identities we came to a very refreshing conclusion that the european identity is rather an economical need than a social one. Finally we, the europeans, feel identity is overrated and wish to pursue a Naomi Klein philosofy of NO identity.
